Letter from the President

January 23, 2026

Dear Fellow Members,

As we reflect on the past year at the Club, I am proud to share how exceptional it has been—marked by outstanding golf course conditions, well-attended tournaments, and memorable social and family events that truly reflect the spirit of our membership. Your participation and enthusiasm continue to make our Club a special place.

Looking ahead, we are excited for the coming year and all it will bring. We have planned once again, a robust golf tournament schedule along with a full calendar of social events designed to offer something for everyone. At the same time, we remain focused on continuously improving our facilities, services, and overall member experience.

These efforts would not be possible without the dedication of our staff and management teams. I would like to sincerely thank our entire Staff. led by Joe Kuntar, GM/COO, for their hard work and commitment to excellence across all areas of Club operations.

We are also very pleased with the progress of the locker room and lower-level renovations, which are coming along spectacularly and remain on schedule. The reopening of our Clubhouse on February 6th will be exciting; as we welcome members back on a weekend schedule, starting on Fridays, for Attitude Adjustment Happy Hours, private dining in the Tavern, and our February favorite events; the annual Super Bowl Watch Party and Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance. In addition, Shane and his culinary team are enhancing the Tavern menu, and we look forward to sharing these new offerings with you.

As you know, rising costs and inflation continue to impact operations. In order to maintain and advance our clubhouse, golf course, and pool facilities, a 3% dues increase will be applied across all membership classifications, along with a $10 per month increase to the monthly capital contribution. These adjustments will allow us to continue meeting—and exceeding—your expectations as members.

Finally, we will be introducing a new online payment platform that will allow for convenient monthly auto-payments and more efficient online bill payment, making account management easier for our members.

Thank you for your continued support and pride in the Club. We look forward to welcoming you back in February and sharing another outstanding year together.

Warm regards,

Neil Curcio
President

December Letter from the Golf Chair

Dear Members,

I hope this message finds you warm, safe, and healthy-especially those of you braving the chilly Northeast! With the snow piling up and temperatures dropping, it's that time of year again: our greens are officially closed for the season.

Once the snow melts, Jason and his dedicated crew will set up the temporary greens. Until then, the course will be off-limits for play-not that the weather is making it very inviting right now!
When the temporary greens are ready and the weather cooperates, the course will be open for walking only through the off-season.

Speaking of walking, I want to share the best way to navigate the course during this "snowbird'' setup. This arrangement makes walking a bit easier and keeps things flowing smoothly.

The course will be played in the following sequence:

1 to 9, 9 to 10, 10 through 12, 12 to 8, 8 to 2, 2 to 7, 7 to 13, 13 through 15, 15 to 5, 5 to 4. Please note that the 16th hole will be closed all winter, so from 4 you'll proceed to 3, then 3 to 6, 6 to 17, and finish with 17 and 18.

Wishing all of you a joyful, healthy holiday season and a fantastic New Year! We're already gearing up for next season, which promises to be even better than the last. I can't wait to see what's in store for MGCC!

Stay warm and take care,

Paul Spera
